Using state-of-the-art technology, responsible growing practices and a gentle hand, Windset Farms® has been delivering fresh produce to consumers for over three decades. Beginning small with a simple bell pepper, we’ve grown into one of North America’s largest sustainable suppliers of naturally grown produce.

Every year we ship premium quality tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and specialty produce across the globe. With greenhouses in Delta, BC and Santa Maria, CA, we offer customers delicious, nutrient-rich produce year round.

Our Facilities

Windset has become a leader in setting some of the highest standards with regard to seed selection, sustainable growing methods, pest control management, food safety, traceability, and packaging. We never stop looking for ways to improve service for our customers, reduce our carbon footprint, and ensure consistent quality and performance.

Windset owns and operates 298 acres of greenhouse production across Canada and the United States, including 130 acres in Delta, British Columbia, and 168 acres in Santa Maria, California. Together with trusted grower partners in Canada, the United States and Mexico, Windset Farms delivers a reliable, year-round supply of fresh, premium greenhouse-grown vegetables to customers across North America and international markets. The strategic locations reduce food miles, enhance food security, and provide nutritious produce for everyone to enjoy.

Santa Maria, California

168 Acres of growing area (8 million Ft²)

Windset’s Santa Maria greenhouse facility spans 168 acres and produces tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers year-round.

It is the largest single-site greenhouse vegetable facility in the United States and the world’s largest KUBO Ultra-Clima® greenhouse.

The KUBO Ultra-Clima® greenhouse, combined with Santa Maria’s unique growing climate, allows Windset Farms to achieve record-breaking yields through sustainable, non-lit cultivation.

Delta, British Columbia

130 Acres of growing area (6 million Ft²)

Windset’s Delta greenhouse facility spans 130 acres and produces tomatoes, cucumbers and other greenhouse vegetables year-round.

It is the largest LED-lit greenhouse vegetable facility in Western North America, with 86 acres dedicated to year-round tomato and cucumber cultivation.

Advanced ultra-lit LED technology supports consistent year-round production. Windset’s commitment to energy-efficient growing has been recognized with a BC Hydro Clean Energy Champion award and the FortisBC Efficiency in Action Award.

We believe in ensuring all the farms are compliant with the same labor standards that govern our own facilities. Through third-party certification audits, we evaluate our partner suppliers to ensure company standards on human trafficking, slavery, fair worker compensation, safe working conditions, and local labor regulations are met.
