On August 25th and 26th, 2018 a team of Windset Farms® riders took part in the 2018 BC Ride to Conquer Cancer®. Battling the rain all weekend long, riders completed this 200 kilometer bike ride with big smiles on their faces!
Collectively, Team Windset raised over $80,000 in support of the BC Cancer Foundation.
Originally, the ride was scheduled to start in Cloverdale, BC and finish in Hope, but due to an ongoing forest fire in the area, the route was changed to circle through the neighboring city of Chilliwack on the second day. Despite this last minute change, the cyclists still had a great ride and are looking forward to completing the original route next year. We’re so proud of everyone’s fundraising and cycling efforts!
The Ride To Conquer Cancer is an epic two day, 200 kilometer ride that takes place in various cities across Canada. With over $96 million raised over the past decade in support of the BC Cancer Foundation, it is one of Canada’s largest fundraising events.
