Driving Away Hunger in Communities Across Canada

For the past 16 years Farm Credit Canada has assisted in providing millions of meals to a variety of food banks and feeding programs all around Canada. This year Windset is proud to have helped FCC with their record-breaking year, donating around 75,000 pounds of produce! With the support of many other partners and schools, we were able to provide over 16.2 million meals, breaking their previous record of 9.5 million last year!

Here at Windset Farms®, we are so thankful to be part of a community that understands the importance of giving back and supporting our fellow Canadians.

“[Our] hope is that FCC Drive Away Hunger raises awareness and inspires us to continue giving throughout the year in support of Canada’s food banks and those in need,” said FCC’s President and CEO, Michael Hoffort.

The Drive Away Hunger food drive serves as a valuable reminder that even the smallest donation can help a family in need. As we enter the holiday season, don’t forget to keep those families in mind. Just a $1 donation, equivalent to three meals, can go a long way for a family who might have gone hungry without.
