Covid-19 Food Heroes Recognition

During this uncertain and unprecedented time, our communities have relied on us more than ever to ensure fresh, greenhouse grown veggies make it safely into your neighborhood retailers and into the hands of those that need it most!

At Windset Farms® it is our number one priority to make sure our employees are safe and healthy, and the food we produce is safe as well.

Due to the current outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, Windset Farms® has taken immediate, proactive measures, and has implemented guidelines to not only ensure the well-being of our employees but the safety of the food we produce on behalf of our consumers.

Weekly donations to organizations such as the Santa Barbara County Food Bank, Food Banks BC, Vancouver Food Runners and Fable Kitchen have assisted in supporting a community that always supports us!

We wanted to take the time to recognize these local food heroes, Food Runners and Fable Kitchen, who have really stepped up to the plate and made distribution of our veggies and free meals to frontline workers seamless! Serving Kitsilano and the greater Vancouver area, Fable Kitchen has all hands on-deck, offering the community delicious take-out meals made with our fresh, greenhouse grown, locally sourced ingredients! Their Owner and Head Chef, Trevor Bird, has joined up with fellow local Vancouver restaurant Say Mercy! To offer free meals for frontline workers during this time! In addition, Food Runners Vancouver continues to help our most vulnerable population with pick up and delivery service. We are continually checking in with these and other awesome businesses to make sure their produce needs are met!

If you are interested in donating to any of the organizations mentioned above in any way, feel free to click the links below for more information! We appreciate your concern and thank all consumers for their continued support and kind words we have received.
